Buying Process Explained
1. Scouting
We are constantly on the look-out for promising horses with high potential.
2. Analysis
We will always ride the horses to get a feel for their personality, physical condition and native talent
3. Decision In Principle
Once we have identified a suitable horse, and have the funds available, we agree a decision in principle with the buyer. This means if it passes the veterinary checks we are obligated to buy.
4. Veterinary Checks
A trusted Vet is hired to perform a very in-depth and thorough analysis of the horse. This included x-rays, a physical check-up and blood-work to ensure the horse in in good health.
5. Insurance
All horses are fully insured against death or serious injury.
Our buying criteria
Buy Potential
Add Value
We are always looking for horses that have future potential so that we can add value with our 6-step training program.
Buy Flexibility
Multiple Exits
We will favour horses that have the potential to compete in multiple disciplines, which give us more flexibility in the sales process.
Buy Value
Under-priced
We are always looking for good deals, where we believe the value of the horse to be higher than what the market perceives it to be.
As the old saying goes "make money when you buy not when you sell".

Core Principles
of our training methodology
Nutrition
Each horse has a tailor-made diet. We focus on quality feed and
continuously monitor the horse and adjust as we go.
Consistency
Unlike many other trainers, we are with our horses 7 days a week,
365 days of the year. This constant attention and consistency means
any issues are detected early and remedied promptly.
Patience
We work with the horses, going at their pace. We give them time to develop
both physically and emotionally into their role as Show-Jumping horses.
Our Facilities
Only the best.
Surface
Uneven or poor-quality surface materials will eventually lead to joint pain or other injuries, so we ensure they are using only the best facilities available.
Medical Team
We use Vets, Physios and other treatments to deal with any issues as they come up. Neglecting even minor problems can lead to major issues down the line.
Farrier
Our Farrier is the best in the business. Cutting corners here again can lead to joint pains or injuries - the last thing you want happening as you are preparing for show days!

About show jumping.
Our belief is that results at competition are determined long before you unload your horse from the trailer and start going over the jumps. Excellence is all about preparation.
If you need help improving your performance we can review your show reels and give tailored advice to improve your training program and debug any issues you may be facing.
Competitions
Hunter
Where the horse and rider jump a course and the judging is based on accuracy, grace, and elegance. Think more like ballet, with rhythm and style being the most important things.
Show Jumping
Horses are judged by how quickly they can complete a course of jumps with the fewest errors, called faults.
Equitation
Riders are judged on their riding style primarily, more than the horse being judged. Smoothness is the priority here, think of it like a combination of the other two disciplines but the rider is the one being judged not the horse.

And our global network of partners.
When you've been in the business as long as we have, you get to know a few people. And while Show-Jumping is all about horses, it's also a people business.
Relationships are forged over time, and trust is developed. People want to buy from someone they trust, someone with a track record. We can help sell your horse by accessing an extensive network of partners we have around the world.
Depending on the situation, or the temperament of the horse leasing can be a viable option as well.
